How To Make Baksh In A Bag

Ingredients:

  • 24.5 oz mutton or beef
  • 6-7 medium potatoes
  • 2 Bulgarian peppers
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 3 onions
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • salt
  • pepper
  • spices to taste
  • greens to taste (fennel, parsley, etc.)

Preparation:
The amount of ingredients is for a 1 gallon saucepan.
Mince the onion.
Cut the meat into small cubes.
Remove the seeds from the pepper and cut it into strips.
Cut tomatoes into cubes.
Mince the carrot into strips.
Sauté the onion in vegetable oil in the sauté pan.
Add meat and fry well.
Then add tomatoes, Bulgarian pepper, carrot and tomato paste.
Add boiling water, so the water covers vegetables with meat. Simmer for 30 minutes.
Peel potatoes, cut into cubes or strips.
Add potatoes to the meat and vegetables.
Add boiling water, salt, pepper and boil until the potatoes are ready.
At the end of cooking, add spices, garlic.
