On September 5-6, 2024, the 10th Anniversary Conference of Bukharian Jews was held in the Jewish Center of Hanover (Germany) on the topic: “The Role of the Individual in the History of Bukharian Jews”, organized by Markiel Fazylov and Hannah Danielova.
Scientists from different countries took part in the conference: Germany, Israel, USA, Austria, France. Interesting reports were heard, dedicated to both individuals from the community, and generalized materials reflecting the general trend of the development of the Bukharian Jewish community.
All materials touched upon current issues related to famous people of our history. In addition, in the report of Markiel Fazylov “Heads of communities and rabbis of Bukharian Jews” interesting problems related to positions and titles in the history of Bukharian Jews (rabbis, kalontars, etc.) were raised.
In his report, Amnun Kimyagarov highlighted the role of merchants in promoting technical achievements in the development of progress in human life. The main emphasis was on the activities of Jewish merchants of Central Asia in this direction.
An interesting report was made by Mikhail Kimyagarov on the history of the creation of the Museum of Bukharian Jews and its role in promoting famous people of the Bukharan Jewish community.
In her report, Hannah Danielova spoke about published books about outstanding Bukharan Jews.
Of particular interest and quite a heated debate was the previously unannounced report by Khurshid Kodirov, “Stolen Childhood.” The author, originally from Bukhara, has lived in France for 15 years and is studying the Holocaust. He spoke about his research on the Holocaust, starting with the poems of the famous Uzbek poet and writer Gafur Gulyam, such as “I am a Jew” and “You are not an orphan” and the problems associated with refugee families and their descendants.
All conference participants received a collection of conference materials prepared by Aba Priyev.
It should be noted that at the same time, an event to open the Mikvah complex, which includes the mikvah itself and the renovated synagogue building, was held in the Jewish center of Hanover. This event brought together a lot of guests and officials.
In their free time, the participants of the events were treated to performances by the artists of the Israeli satirical magazine “Handa-Handa”, brothers Khai and Ronen Davydov, as well as the famous singer Polina Khaimova.

10 Юбилейная конференция бухарских евреев.
5 – 6 сентября 2024 года в еврейском центре Ганновера(Германия) прошла 10-я, Юбилейная, конференция бухарских евреев на тему:«Роль личности в истории бухарских евреев», организованная Маркиэлем Фазыловым и Ханной Даниэловой.
В работе конференции приняли участие ученые из разных стран: Германии, Израиля, США, Австрии, Франции. Были заслушаны интересные доклады, посвященные как отдельным личностям из среды общины, так и обобщенные материалы отражающие общую тенденцию развития общины бухарских евреев.
Все материалы затрагивали актуальные вопросы связанные с известными людьми нашей истории. Кроме того в докладе Маркиэла Фазылова «Главы общин и раввины бухарских евреев» были подняты интересные проблемы связанные с должностями и званиями в истории бухарских евреев(равины, калонтары и т. п.).
В своем сообщении Амнун Кимьягаров осветил роль купечества в продвижении технических достижений в развитии прогресса в жизни человека. Главный упор был сделан о деятельности еврейских купцов Центральной Азии в этом направлении.
Интересный доклад был сделан Михаилом Кимягаровым об истории создания музея бухарских евреев и его роли в пропаганде известных людей общины бухарских евреев.
В своём сообщении Ханна Даниэлова рассказала о вышедших в свет книгах, о выдающихся бухарских евреях.
Особый интерес и довольно бурную полемику вызвал незаявленный ранее доклад Хуршида Кодирова «Украденное детство». Автор родом из Бухары, на протяжении 15 лет проживает во Франции и занимается изучением темы Холокоста. Он рассказал о своих исследованиях вопроса холокоста, начиная со стихотворений известного узбекского поэта и писателя Гафура Гуляма, такие, как «Я еврей» и «Ты не сирота» и проблемах связанных с семьями беженцев и их потомков.
Все участники конференции получили сборник материалов конференции, подготовленный Аба Приевым.
Необходимо отметить, что в то же время, в еврейском центре Ганновера проходило, мероприятие по открытию комплекса Миквы, куда входит непосредственно сама миква и обновленное здание синагоги. Это меропириятие собрало очень много гостей и официальных лиц.
В свободное время перед участниками мероприятий выступали артисты Израильского сатирического журнала «Ханда-Ханда» братья Хай и Ронен Давыдовы, а также известная певица Полина Хаимова.
